Well, after reading Quinn and Larissa's story, I now know that I need to make a return visit to this series. I adore a good family series that focuses on each sibling, and the setting in a resort on an island is an added bonus. Happy Endings really resonated with me. I love Larissa's character. She's strong, spunky, and knows what she wants. She has some things to deal with and it leaves her vulnerable, but she comes out stronger than ever.I wasn't sure what to think about Quinn. After the first intro I was like...how in the world is this going to play out? Then he shows his true self to Larissa and I fell for him. Though both characters have some hard headed moments, I knew they were meant to be together. Reading their journey to an HEA left me feeling good.
Looking forward to more!

Quinn McCallister has to test the new massage therapist to see if they should hire her full time. Larissa Benner has survived cancer, but can she survive the test Quinnputs her through. Quinn ends up falling for Larissa, but is he willing to spend less time working than with her. He is put to the test when Larissa really needs him. He picks work over her, has he completely lost her when she leaves the island?
After reading Quinn and Larissa's story, I was hooked on the McCallister family. What a great family. I already started reading the second book in the McCallister's Paradise series and am enjoying Parker's story. I can't wait to read about each of the McCallister family members journey to true love.
This was a great start to a new series. Not like the other books I've read by this author. It was all romance with no bad guys after them. Quinn and Larissa's chemistry was off the charts. Cannot wait to see how all the other McCallister siblings get their Happy Ending, starting with Parker in the next book. Chantel is a gifted writer and I highly recommend reading this book and this series.
The one word that comes to mind is WOW this book had steam, heartache, love, misunderstandings all mixed into a story about a young woman who fought cancer once and won and turns around and has to fight it again. Oh and this truly sweet young woman is betrayed the first time because her boyfriend could not handle what was happening to her and then turn around find someone again she could love and seeing it all happening again. This is a powerful story well written and there is a happy ending. It was a book that you can become totally lost in feeling all the emotions that these characters did. It was a book that showed the best and worse parts of the human psyche. I loved it! This was very different from other books I have read from this author. My recommendation is to get this book and or audio you will not regret it.
This story struck a very deep chord for me. At various times I have felt that my life is not entirely of my own choosing. This story helped me to realize that there are things under our control we need to change and perhaps should change.They may not make a difference to others, but that they would impact us more then we can ever tell.
There is a silent power throughout these pages that will seep into your very soul and gentle instruct and reveal things we need to see. Above all this book will haunt the edges of your conscience mind and prick your feelings to make you face what you continue to ignore.
The wonderful characters hold an inner strength that will delight and touch your heart. You won't be able to walk away from them and be the same. They will own a piece of you.
Above all, give this book a chance, and I guarantee that you will not regret it!
I really enjoyed this book. I'm not always a fan of romance books where one of them has a seemingly endless supply of money, but this story was well done. The money wasn't overly played up, but it was played just enough to let a girl dream. The island setting made me long for the beaches and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. I loved her descriptions of the island and that it wasn't just a generic tropical island with a beach resort. Loved enjoying their relationship and battling through struggles. I'm honestly shocked I wasn't in tears reading this as I've many family members who've had breast cancer. It wasn't that her book didn't make me feel, I just didn't end up a watery mess...all the more shocking with all the pregnancy hormones that make me cry over commercials. )
I'm looking forward to the sequels.

Happy Endings is the first book in the series about the McCallister family. They have a family business on their own private island in Hawaii. This first book is about oldest son Quinn and Larissa.
Larissa is applying for a massage therapist position. She desperately needs this job because of the medical benefits. Her first client is none other than Quinn and he's there to test her. Why? Well, they've had problems with clients asking for "happy endings" at their massage sessions and unfortunately have had therapists that would provide it for them. Quinn is testing Larissa to see if she will do it or not. Larissa pasts the test and now thinks her boss is a perv and doesn't want to have anything to do with him. She hopes to steer clear of him if she does get the job.
Quinn hated having to test her like that but he had to make sure that they won't have another scandal. His dad makes him tell her that she got the job and also has to invite her to sit at the "family" table at that evenings dinner. Will she accept the invitation? Does she believe it was just a test?
You won't regret reading this book ... it's a wonderfully written story of love, heartache and life struggles. It's not your typical boy meets girl, everything is hunky dor and they live happily ever after.
